 | It all started when I was a little child. My sister tells stories of when Elvis would come on the radio, I would jump up on the coffee table and start dancing and singing along. I have always been a huge Elvis fan and as the years passed by I began to sing go to the karaoke bars and sing the night away. I bought my first Elvis costume to go to a Halloween party and won the costume contest. I then joined a few contests and did well. I was asked to do a diners grand opening and then a New Years Eve party, everybody there was shocked and wouldn't leave untill I sang more. In 2002 I entered Dick Clarks American Bandstand Grills Elvis Contest and took 3rd Place. In 2005 I found out about the Elvistival in Dewey Beach, De. I had a great time performing there, and have been a regular every year in Dewey. In 2010 I won the Dewey Elvis Festival. I have also won 3rd place in the Rahway Ultimate Elvis Contest in 2008 and won 2nd place in the Lake George Ultimate Elvis Contest in 2010. I really enjoy watching everyone that comes out to all the different venues having such a great time, and also enjoy the shows with them because i have a great appreciation for all the other tribute artists as well. |
